The Twitter Queens Are a Hit

Dear RTV and Twitter Queens:

I attended the Webinar with the Twitter Queens, and I think that might stick. 5 Min. after the meeting I went and signed up my Twitter account and starting posting. I didn't know how to use Facebook, MySpace or Twitter. Now I know how to use Twitter very well. I can see how you might be able to get a client or 2 from Twitter.

A question that I would have is why would people from Twitter follow me? Is it just because I post news my 360 virtual tours of the area or virtual tour industry news? I also have seen the Twitter Queens posting news throughout all of the day. I could post but I really don't have as much time as them to keep on posting the way they do. However the webinar did teach me something new that I really needed to learn and have been putting off.

Overall I am really happy that I attended the Twitter Queens Webinar. I will keep on posting news on Twitter and posting my Parma Virtual Tours and see if this will help my business grow.

Thank You
Frank A Novak

Alamo Tours On SEO

As a hopeful SEO candidate to get my website www.alamoareavirtualtours.com on the first page or even within the first 10 sites on a search, I have been working and studying how, what and when to make changes or not to make changes for that matter. The free RTV SEO course you gave me as a virtual tour provider made me aware of the need to be diligent and persevere in becoming noticed by the bot crawlers.

Having said that, I can say that within, what, five months, I am either on page two or three of google, yahoo, dogpile and bing. However and it is interesting that each engine seems to crawl at a different algorithm. On one engine, I am found under L'oeil L'esprit. On another I am found as AlamoAreaVirtualTours, but not L'oeil L'esprit. On another I am found using the search 'San Antonio Virtual Tours', which leads to my local virtual tour provider website.

On another it links to benefits:
http://alamoareavirtualtours.com/benefits On that one I am number four on Google. I am also showing up with Active Rain as having a blog concerning 'San Antonio Housing'. What am I saying? Not only that the search engines seem to have different systems, but that 1) If I can follow the RTV SEO guide, anybody can! and 2) Review and do searches for all the search engines to see where you are. I am a neophyte at this but I will continue as it is a challenge to me. I have a question of you all; Does it do any good to have more than one domain? If so would they all link or direct to the first domain or just link to the website? (Told you I'm a neophyte)

Thanks in advance for hints and or downright criticisms if need be. To check out more ideas and blogs go to http://activerain.com/blogs/hobievirtualtours. Rem* Life's a Complexity of Simplicities

Add Your Virtual Tour Blog to Your Website

If you want to increase visibility and awareness of your virtual tour blog, here is an easy task you can perform to get your virtual tour blog on your website. Having your blog RSS feed coming into your website does not require a lot of experience, nor does it require a lot of time. Once implemented, each new blog post will be automatically posted to your website.

Adding Blog RSS Feed to Your Website

There are tons of sources out there that offer information on adding RSS to your site. After a little research, I was able to find a simple RSS service that is free and can be done in minutes. This service also provides an upgrade version to add multiple RSS feed sources into one single RSS feed. One of the reasons I like RSS include is it has an easy to use management interface that lets you customize your feed layout and the length of the feed excerpts.

Go to RSS include -http://www.rssinclude.com, and create your free account. Once your account has been created, create your new feed by simply going to your blog, look for the orange RSS symbol on your browser toolbar and click. Make sure that the feed you are viewing is an RSS feed, i.e., the feed address should look something like this- http://interactivemediablog.e-toursonline.com/rss.aspx.

Notice the RSS in the feed address? Copy the address from your browser and paste it into the RSS 'include input feed' section. Your feed can be previewed in a side window at the right to show you exactly how it will look on your website. The code can be generated for Java script, PHP or Wordpress. Once you are satisfied with your design and layout, simply generate the code and place it where you want the RSS feed to appear. Of course you do have to have access to your website to modify and place the code. I would highly recommend putting your blog feed on your home page. Publish your website updates. Great! You now have an RSS feed on your home page. Each time you make a new blog post your home page will be updated with fresh content.

Some final food for thought:

Whenever you do publish a blog I highly recommend that you submit your blog to the RTV Blog here http://www.virtualtourprovider.com by sending RTV an email of your blog post. RTV will then link that blog back to your website using geographical keywords that are relevant to your services such as Tampa Virtual Tours. See how easy that is!!??

Also try posting your blog on other sites recommended in the RTV Social Ignition course! If you're an RTV dealer and have not taken this yet WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? Sign into your marketing control panel and get that going now!

Hello to Nova Scotia Virtual Tours

I have been a service provider for real estate brokerages for over 10 years providing print media, delivered door to door within their market areas biweekly. This has always been a successful venture and my business grew 20% per year EVERY year I was in business. Until last year.

Last year all brokerages drastically cut their print advertising, directly affecting my "bottom line" by a whopping 30%. These brokerages were not spending less money on advertising, they were advertising MORE online and less in print. It was time I take measures to keep up with their forward thinking.

Savvy brokerages knew that over 80% of consumers were researching and finding their homes online.

I began research into online marketing solutions for my clients and was attending training for CMS software in Florida when I met an RTV dealer. He raved about Jason LaVanture and Real Tour Vision and was successfully running his own virtual tour business. Meeting that RTV dealer was the highlight of my trip. I knew I had stumbled across something VERY big.

Just a few clicks (back in Nova Scotia) and I was corresponding with Real Tour Vision within minutes! Literally. That was my first impression of their company. One little query and the phone rang within 5 minutes. Impressive!

Real Tour Vision is not just about virtual tours. Although, they do offer the "sexiest" virtual tours out there. Not to mention their software is so user friendly my 16 year old can't wait to use it! Real Tour Vision does all my homework for me and keeps me informed of all the latest trends in social media; how to make it work for me (and my clients). Prior to Inner Circle Marketing, I spent hours browsing various sites trying to stay abreast of current trends. Real Tour Vision takes care of that for me now.

Real Tour Vision also saved me time with their ready to go web templates. I simply enter my company info, choose my layout and colors... and bang! - a website to market my tours - ready to go. How convenient and fast, a no brainer!

Real Tour Vision has also recently announced text connect. It is this type of genius that keeps me awake at night with dollar signs in my eyes. I know I can leave the leg work of finding the most effective marketing tools for my clients to Real Tour Vision, and simply follow their lead.

Being a part of the Real Tour Vision team and family has it's advantages as Tour Track can provide leads and jobs in your area. Not to mention that Real Tour Vision takes care of it's own. And this by far is what has "blown me away" about this company.

Recently a prospective customer approached RTV to begin a dealership within an hour of my business and market area. I was immediately called by RTV to discuss it. What I did not expect was that they were calling to let me know that he had already turned down this prospective customer! This knocked my socks off! That kind of support is just about unheard of. Real Tour Vision looked out for my best interests, when they could have made a sale. Not only did they turn him down, but they gave him my contact information to provide his tours.

I have yet to make my first Nova Scotia virtual tour. Training starts on Monday, but already I belong to a family who believes in me, supports me, and knows me by name.

I am proud to say that I am the first RTV dealer in Nova Scotia.

Joining RTV is the best decision I have made in a very long time. 10 years.

Thank you RTV!

Google Juice Comes From Freshly Squeezed Blogs

Listen up RTV!

Blogging is arguably the simplest (& cheapest) way to start generating traffic to your virtual tour website. It is extremely powerful and very easy to do. Whether you have a blog already, or aren’t yet familiar with them, understand that they are a key factor in your online marketing for virtual tours and real estate business.

Blogging is not only a great way to drive traffic to your site but is incredibly important in building your credibility and brand for your virtual tour or real estate business!

Some Benefits of Blogging:

Boost Traffic: Blogs and RSS feeds can make a positive change in your the traffic to your website. By adding new content to your site on a regular basis, you ensure that the search engine’s spider crawls your site more often.

Back Links: Note that lots of Google juice comes from freshly squeezed blogs. Through blogging, you can find a number of business partners together because people having different interests and thoughts are closely knit with each other.

Lower Costs: Blogging is a low-cost alternative to having a web site. Virtual Tour and real estate business owners that don’t have the time to learn web html or the money to hire a designer/developer, blogging offers an economical method to get your company's name out on the Internet.

Cheap Marketing: By Blogging you can raise your website profile and increase visits to your virtual tour website almost instantly!

So, are you blogging yet? If not, you should be! Sign up now in your BRC for the RTV 12 Week Blogging Course. Inner circle members may also now download our entire NEW 12 WEEK Social Ignition Course under the "Systems" tab in the RPM Site.

A Shout From Tehachapi

I started my Tehachapi virtual tour business about 4 years ago and have had a blast ever since. Even thought the economy is tanked, there are many various opportunities for the utilization of virtual tours. Real Estate is only one.

The price of your homes fits into a great market for VT’s. Keep in mind, with a virtual tour business you are only limited by your energy and creativity. The ROI is really rather rapid.

Your relationships with real estate agents and the local association is what really keeps things going. The tours will get you started. Don’t hesitate to give a few away in the beginning as they will sell themselves after that. Also, make sure you visit the offices and talk with the agents OFTEN! That is when I seem to get my orders. (out of sight out of mind).

As far as how much can be made. Well that really depends on your market and how creative you are. The team at RTV is one of the best I have worked with. They have always been there for support, and if you can catch a couple of Jason’s ideas you are bound to be successful.

Tell Google Yahoo and Bing About You

As a property marketer and provider of virtual tours in your area you need to let more than people know that you exist! By quickly filling out a listing on these 3 sites (Google Listings, Yahoo Listings and Bing Local Listings), you instantly let the major search engines know that your virtual tour business is important, and they show it to more potential customers.

Google Listings: Free listing - Local customers already search Google for the products and services you offer. Create a business listing to be sure they find you. Free updates - Keep your address, phone number, hours of operation, and more up-to-date. Even create coupons and display photos and videos, all for free. Free insights - Use the power of Google's data to learn where your customers come from and what they search for to find you.

Yahoo Listings: A Local Basic Listing displays your information in Yahoo! Local Search results when customers search for businesses like yours in your area. Add or update your business' name, contact information, and category. You can also add information such as hours of operation, accepted payment methods, services offered, and products available for sale. Leverage the power of Yahoo! Local, a leading destination for motivated customers looking for local information online.

Bing Local Listings (Formerly MSN): Bing Local lets users find businesses near them, or near where they want to go. Because listings are returned in search results, businesses don't have to search for new customers—the customers have already found them. It's free - It's like free advertising! The more information you provide, the easier it is for customers to find you. It's fast - Improve or update your listing anytime to suit your needs. There's no schedule or hassle. Reach your customers - Customers are already searching for what you provide. What better time to reach them?

Facebook - Friend or Foe?

I was reading my daily news sent to my iphone from our local News station and the headline hit me hard like a ton of bricks dropping on my head. “Pasadena photographer claims he was wrongly booted off Facebook”, www.khou.com.

As I was reading this story, I thought of my Houston Virtual Tour business and how I was using facebook. Are we creating a fan page to submit links about our virtual tours or are we just submitting them in our own account? I took a look at the terms and really couldn’t see a defining answer to the questions I had.

As a photographer in Houston, Texas, facebook is a great tool to use to showcase your work to your friends and family and you would want them to pass your name along to their friends and family for future jobs. Social Networking is blowing up all over the nation and with that the potential to reach millions of people are endless.

Being a Virtual Tour provider for Realtors®, posting your virtual tours to Facebook is a great tool to showcase homes for sale in the area. More and more Realtors® are also using Facebook for the purpose of showcasing their listings to their clients and others Realtors® that they have befriended.

Just remember to reach the fine print when signing up for new social networking sites! At Lenee’ Photography we strive to keep compliant with all terms of use to avoid what happened to this photographer in Pasadena.

Say NO to Info@

We’ve all been there. Having a busy day, working hard at building virtual tours and multitasking a million things at once. In the zone where we are getting more accomplished than an Internet cowboy on a pot of latté. Then it happens…you go to forward an email to someone and everything comes to a screeching halt. You’re trying to send an email to Jason but Microsoft outlook does not have the Jason that you’re looking for stored. If only Jason had used his name at the beginning of his email everything would be fine but now here you are searching for his email address. Screening through your sent mail from last week; pouring over your deleted emails in search of the last time you had heard from him.

Yes…. you are stuck in the inefficient zone.

The inefficient zone can be easily avoided in two simple ways. You can make habit of always adding new people to your address book as they come in to you. This way as long as you know that Jason’s name is indeed Jason, your program will automatically find him and show you that his email is jsllava1_828@yahoo.com. Something that only C3p0 could possibly remember.

Secondly you can start spreading the word right now and encourage all of your business associates to use their name when selecting an email address for their company. Say NO to info@!

In addition, there is nothing that screams unprofessional as an email address that you got for free at one of the many email sites like Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, and so on. So how can you fix this? Simple, get an email address that is associated with a domain name that you own. This is an easy way to increase your online business credibility by at least 110%. Don’t forget to use your name in the e-mail address: yourname@yourdomain.com, forget the info@ or any other gobblygook you can come up with! Again...SAY NO to Info@!

Let’s keep America moving!

This technology makes property information instantly available on mobile phones and yields lead generation for real estate agents. Now all RTV virtual tour providers, both In-House and Full Service, can use this exciting new technology.

"Text messaging" is the fastest growing form of communication and RTV is very excited to offer this unique and powerful marketing tool to you at a very low cost. RTV Frequently Asked Questions by Cathal Duffy

1) Is this a viable business?

"I hope so! I’ve been producing St. Augustine virtual tours now for five years! All kidding aside, it is a very viable business. Virtual Tours are in demand even more so now than when I started in the business because of the slowing economy and slow home sales. While many Realtors have left the business, the ones that are still around are the true professionals that realize the value in Virtual Tours and online marketing.

These people understand the need to spend money marketing their real estate listings and the Virtual Tour is the best marketing investment one could ask for. Your market price point is perfect for Virtual Tours. The price range in our market vary quite a bit from entry level $150k homes up to multi-million beachfront mansions, but the vast majority of our business comes on houses right in the price range you mentioned or slightly higher."

2) How much can you make?

"That’s totally up to you. The property marketing business has no limits, but you have to remember that you’re in a sales business first, before you’re in the Virtual Tour business. If you have a focused marketing plan, and you get out on the street and meet realtors and other potential clients, there is no limit to how successful your business can be. In the five years we’ve been in business we’ve constantly grown month over month and year over year. And we’ve seen a lot of other Virtual Tour companies come and some go in the various areas of the country.

The common thing I’ve seen in the ones that don’t make it is they don’t market their services effectively. You can take the greatest pictures in the world, but if you don’t have a client that’s willing to pay you for them, you’re spinning your wheels. All the Virtual Tour companies that I’ve seen that make it, focus on making sure they’ve always got something in the pipeline. Like I said, you need a focused marketing plan, and you need to get out to Realtors offices and market you services and the limit on how much you can make is up to you.

3) What is your experience with RTV?

"My experience has been very positive. Jason and the rest of the staff are always available to help. Even five years in we occasionally have a question or want to get an opinion on something, they’re always very receptive and helpful. They’re constantly coming up with new ways to make the Virtual Tours better and stay on the cutting edge of technology, they’ve got the marketing support as well as tour track program (which are national accounts RTV sends out to photograph for them) and they send leads out to us somewhat regularly as they come into their website.

Quite frankly they’re business model depends on all the dealerships like ours being successful, so they’re invested in seeing us succeed. There are other Virtual Tour companies out there, but none of them I’ve seen come close to the comprehensive system and support that RTV provides. Finally… don’t forget while Real Estate Virtual Tours are the bread and butter of our business, just about any type of property or facility such as meeting halls, restaurants, campgrounds, etc can benefit from Virtual Tours.

These clients provide much more lucrative opportunities, but they do require additional leg work to get the sales. We just shot a 17 scene Virtual Tour of the Daytona Beach Convention Center for example, the final price was equivalent to 17 of our regular real estate Virtual Tours!!

We shoot a lot of Model Homes for new builders, and they’re priced 2 ½ times higher regular Real Estate Virtual Tours so the bottom line is that there's a lot of opportunities out there to make a successful Virtual Tour business, If you have any additional questions, please feel free to respond or visit our website anytime."
